How to move in Bogotá?
To get out of the airport, the cheapest option (but not so fast) are the K86 route buses of the Transmilenio urban bus system. With the Moovit App you can find out the schedules and routes of these buses. You can also do it in the authorized taxis, which cost around US $ 8 to Bogotá’s downtown.
The trips in the city are usually quite long. The TransMilenio, with its articulated and urban buses with exclusive lanes and fixed stops, connects you with every corner of Bogotá. In some sectors, the system also links with inter-municipal transport to go to nearby areas outside of Bogotá. There is also an extensive cycle route through a large part of the city, so if you rent a bike you can move around with ease. We also recommend taking taxis through Apps such as Tappsi or Easy Taxi, since it usually happens that false taxi drivers in the street offer you mobilization and you end up with more than one problem.
