Going from the Airport to Providencia or Downtown Santiago will take you around 30 minutes. There isn’t subway or train service to connect with the city. You can take a shuttle service at the airport which costs around US$10, a bus that leaves you in the city downtown for US$ 2 or a private taxi. It’s not recommended to enter or leave the airport with Uber or Cabify (not allowed), but within the city these services are very useful, you can also use the Santiago Metro or Transantiago for which you will need a prepaid card for all public transport, called "tarjeta Bip!" that you can buy at any Metro station.
