Holbox is a paradisiacal island located north of Quintana Roo, within the Yum Balam ecological reserve and ANP, it is part of the Riviera Maya tourist corridor and is famous for receiving the whale shark every year, bioluminescence, its calm beaches , sunsets, gastronomy and for being a sanctuary for migratory birds. The flora and fauna are exuberant and something that contrasts perfectly with the tranquility of the town, where no more than 1,500 inhabitants live.

Among the activities within the island you can find tours to explore the mangroves in Kayak. If you want to add some adrenaline to your trip, you can swim with the whale sharks. Avoid at all costs bringing or introducing coolers, Styrofoam, disposable, bags or any type of single-use plastic, remember that you are entering an ecological reserve.
